The “Best New Business Awards 2010”, are now in their 11th year.

Following the success of the Best New Business Awards 2009, the co-promoters of the awards Colin Brown of LighthouseXpress Limited, Tees Valley Unlimited, Teesside University and Business Link North East, are committed to recognising the achievements of entrepreneurs in the Tees Valley and increasing their profile within the vibrant business community.

No matter which type of industry it is, or the size of their business, the Awards' categories reflect the diverse mix of the area. The only criterion is that the business must have been trading for 3 years or less (since 1 July 2007).

The application form couldn't be easier to complete and, once entered, businesses have the chance to win a cash prize of £500 in one of the 8 categories of Award, plus a cash prize of £1,000 for the overall Award winner. Each category winner will receive a prestigious trophy engraved in recognition of its achievements.

The programme culminates in an uplifting and rewarding experience at the Awards Dinner, which takes place at the Riverside Stadium, Middlesbrough on Monday 21st February 2011. The Awards and the resulting media coverage, provides you with a great opportunity to make a real impact quickly!
